Holiday Village Events

The COVID virus affects everything and Halloween is no exception. Please note the following regarding Halloween this year:

  1. The Fire Department has an activity at the new Fire Station. It is not the usual donuts and cider. Please contact the Fire District for details.
  2. Regular Trick or Treat in the Village will be on Saturday, October 31, 2020 from 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
  3. Any residents who wish to participate should have their outside light(s) turned on. Those that do not want to participate should leave their light(s) off.
  4. COVID safety guidelines such as face masks and social distancing should be observed. (https://coronavirus.ohio.gov/static/responsible/celebrating-halloween.pdf)
  5. The Village Police Department will be on duty and be visible throughout the evening.

During these COVID affected times, take safety into consideration with Halloween as you do with other aspects of your life.
