Holiday Lighting Evening!

Let it shine! Park Circle Gazebo Christmas Tree Lighting & Celebration Friday, November 29, 2019 5:30 p.m.

If you have not driven by the Westfield Center circle lately, you’re in for a surprise. New lighting has been added to the gazebo and to nearby trees, showcasing the area and bringing the circle to life at night!

This is the result of the “Let it Shine” committee headed by Westfield Center resident, Val Koneck. Last December Ms. Koneck envisioned the circle lit, a Christmas tree in the gazebo, and a holiday celebration for the Village. During the six months following she assembled a committee made up of other residents: Carolyn & Darrell Waite, Kris and Rick Hawk, Cindy and Darryl Chidsey, and Katrina Morgan.

The committee explored possibilities, received estimates and developed a plan to light the gazebo on a permanent basis. The lighting and budget were approved by the Westfield Center Council in June.

As we move toward the holiday season, watch for additions, turning the center into a magical place. An official lighting ceremony with music, treats and Santa Claus will take place on Friday November 29, 2019 at 5:30 p.m.

There will be parking at the Blair Center!
